I wanted to inform you of a recent bank robbery that took place this afternoon. At approximately 2:30 pm, a light skin male Hispanic walked into Popular Bank, located at 918 Seneca Avenue in Ridgewood. This person then passed a note to the teller demanding money. The perpetrator then left the location fleeing westbound on Myrtle Avenue. There were no injuries and no confirmation of a firearm being displayed. If anyone has information on this incident please contact the 104 Precinct at 718-386-3004.
