PO Robert Kamycki, 108th Precinct NCO, reached out to let us know that he has a new partner, PO Jenelle Farrell, who will be working with him to address quality of life issues in Woodside. I am including their emails and urge you to let them know of any quality of life problems you need to have addressed. [email protected] and [email protected]. PO Kamycki said he's aware that residents in Woodside are being bombarded with construction/sewer work to the point where it's disrupting traffic flow and parking as a result of the sewer project and work on the LIRR. He's also aware that work to clean the property at 69-02 Queens Boulevard will begin to make way for the mega-development project that is slated to be built there and that will bring even more construction vehicles into the area. He said that he and his partner plan on surveying the residential area for any apparently abandoned or derelict vehicles. He stated that it has been brought to his attention that there has been an increase of these vehicles and believes it's time for a cleanup. If anyone has a specific area where you believe derelict or abandoned autos are being stored, please reach out to him and his partner and he will make it a priority. If you prefer, you can refer it to COMET and we will report the location for you. If you live in Woodside or Maspeth and believe the contractor doing the sewer work is taking up parking unnecessarily, reach out to the Community Liaison, Pauline Chan at [email protected] or call 347-782-3885. I had a couple of locations on 70th Street near where I live and the debris was moved and parking spots were restored. Have a great weekend and stay healthy!
