I know this will come as good news to some and not good news for others. Please read the MTA's comment below and take note that the return date IS NOT etched in stone. Those of you who live along Calamus or 79th Street will see the signs going up and most likely see a notification posted that the Q47 is officially back.
I will reach out to Mr. DePalma to make sure the temporary stops on 69th Street as well as Grand Avenue have notifications on them as well. We don't want folks waiting for a bus that doesn't come!

Hi Roe,
We received word from the contractor that we can resume Q47 service back to the normal route. We have put in the instructions to DOT to reinstall signage and plan to resume the route as early as next week (we’re aiming for June 4). This date is subject to change, pending the full restoration of the stops and roadway.
