Captain Mastronardi, 104th Precinct, called to update us about crime in the area. The burglars are still out there so please keep an eye out at the rear of your house.
Early this morning, Tuesday, March 13th, at 2:49 am, the 104th Precinct responded to a call regarding perpetrators in the rear of 54-xx 72nd Street. There were no arrests made, no complainant and no further information.
We've been told by a resident the perpetrators had flashlights, but that's not confirmed.
Whether you live in Maspeth, Woodside, Elmhurst or Middle Village, we are all targets. Keep the rear of your home well lit and look out the back window if you get up at night.
Call 911 if you see any suspicious activity!!

- March 9th - 7:00 pm - Car break-in at 74-xx Penelope Avenue. Sunglasses and other items stolen.
- March 10th - early morning hours - 52-xx 70th Street - unlocked car parked in driveway, expensive coat, cash and credit cards stolen.
- March 10th/11th - 1:30 pm-midnight - Burglary at 57-xx 80th Street, rear entry, glass window shattered, items taken.
