This is probably why some of you who live near the LIE hear noise during early morning hours.

Good afternoon,
In an effort to maximize efficiencies, the protective coating work being done by the NYCDOT Division of Bridges at Hamilton Place, Grand Street and 69th Street have been consolidated so that each bridge will be worked on concurrently.
Please see the attached notice for information regarding the lane closures on the Long Island Expressway and hours of work.
