Next Sunday, May 24th, Maspeth will be saluting the Star Spangled Banner at our Memorial Day Parade. See attachments about the parade and other events preceding it.
Comet will once again be marching and we invite everyone to join us.
This year we will be in Division 1. Assembly Point is Mazeau Street facing Grand Avenue. Comet will be behind the Maspeth Federal Marchers. The parade begins at 1:00 p.m.
This Monday, May 18th, there will be a Candlelight Vigil at Maspeth Memorial Park on 69th Street at Grand Avenue at 8:00 pm. In the event of rain, the ceremony will take place at the American Legion Post #783, 66-28 Grand Avenue, Maspeth. All are welcome!!
If you'd like to march with us and know in advance, please let me know - otherwise you can surprise us. lol
