• Saturday, 4/20, 1-4 pm - Earth Day Event. Paper shredding, electronics recycling, pet adoption, NYPD will VIN Etch cars (you might save money on your theft insurance), limited amount of catalytic converter stickers, bike registration.
• Saturday, 4/27, 12-5 pm - Grand Avenue Street Fair sponsored by the Maspeth Chamber of Commerce. 
• Sunday, 5/5 , 9-3 pm - ECCA Car Show. Sponsored by the East Coast Car Association.
• Monday, 5/20, 8:00 pm - Candlelight Vigil. Sponsored by the United Veterans and Fraternal Organizations of Maspeth to honor our country's fallen heroes.
• Sunday, 5/26, 1:00 pm - The Memorial Day Parade will start at Walter A. Garlinge Memorial Park on 72nd Place at Grand Avenue. The parade will immediately be followed by a ceremony honoring our servicemen and women at our Maspeth Memorial Park on 69th Street at Grand Avenue.
