The 104 Precinct would like to make you aware of two incidents that have taken place within our confines.
- Yesterday, February 21, at the intersection of 88 Street and Cooper Avenue, police responded to a call of a motor vehicle accident involving an electric scooter and an SUV. When officers arrived on the scene, they observed that both the driver and passenger of the electric scooter were suffering from multiple serious physical injuries. Both scooter occupants were immediately rushed to local hospitals from the scene. The driver and passengers of the SUV suffered minor injuries and were also removed to the hospital from the scene. This incident is currently being investigated by the NYPD Highway Unit's Collision Investigation Squad.
- Today, February 22, at approximately 4:15 AM, officers responded to a confirmed shooting in the vicinity of Wyckoff Avenue and Schaefer Street. Upon arrival at the scene, responding units observed a conscious male victim with an apparent bullet wound. The victim stated to the responding officers that he was walking at the location when he suddenly felt himself being struck in the lower back. The victim was removed to a local hospital for further treatment and is in stable condition. This incident is currently being investigated by the 104 Precinct Detective Squad.
