Just wanted to update you on an incident that took place late last night in the confines of the 104th Precinct. At approximately 10 pm, Police responded to calls of a robbery taking place at Juniper Valley Park, more specifically Juniper Blvd. North between 78 St. and 79 St. Upon arrival Officers were met by a male victim 29 years in age. The victim stated he had been sitting on a bench in the park with his girlfriend when two unknown males approached him asking to use his cell phone. When the victim refused, one perpetrator brandished a black firearm from his waist demanding property and money then removing 20 dollars and a watch from the victim. The perpetrators then fled in two different directions, one in the Southbound direction and the other Westbound. The victim was not injured in this incident and was removed to the Precinct for interview and further information gathering. The victim was unable to provide an in depth description of the perpetrators, at this time the description is two, Male/Black, both wearing face masks and black hoodies. This incident is currently under investigation by the 104th Precinct Detective Squad. If you or anyone you know has any further information please reach out to the precinct.
