The 104th Precinct would like to make you aware of an incident that occurred yesterday, February 10, 2024 at approximately 07:23 PM.
Police responded to a call for an assault with a knife at 75 Street and Metropolitan Avenue in Middle Village. Once at the location, responding Officers discovered an injured male victim with laceration wounds to both legs. The victim stated to on-scene personnel that he was approached by five males who threw him to the ground and began assaulting him. The victim was removed to an area hospital for treatment to his injuries. At this time, it appears that the victim was likely targeted, and this was not a random act of violence. The investigation is preliminary, and details are subject to change.
