Don't know about you, but planes have been driving me nuts! They've been flying down Flushing Avenue and along Grand Avenue towards Elmhurst. Today they seem to be flying somewhere near the Maspeth Plateau from Queens Boulevard towards Middle Village. Surprisingly, when I ask folks about it, I get responses like, "I tune it out" or "I don't notice it". Please, pull your head out of the sand and listen!
Noise pollution can cause serious health problems. We don't have to put up with this noise! I've been filing complaints daily for the past week, but me and a couple of other people complaining isn't enough. We ALL need to speak up and fight back! Christina was able to get us the info on how to file a complaint. We'll put this info in our next newsletter so others can help fight this battle and will try to get some of our elected officials to our meeting to discuss this issue. Please take time to make your voice heard!!!!
