The 104th Precinct would like to make you aware of an incident that took place earlier today. On Thursday May 25, approximately 1149 police responded to a call for an explosion in the vicinity of Linden Street an Onderdonk Avenue. Upon arrival the caller stated that she heard a loud explosion coming from her rooftop. Upon searching the roof, officers found an exploded 2-liter Pepsi bottle and a bottle of Drain-O on the street near the location. Video footage shows an individual mixing the chemicals into the Pepsi bottle and throwing it on the roof. The NYPD Arson and Explosion Squad along with the NYPD Bomb Squad responded to the scene and ensured the Pepsi bottle was inert and that there was no threat or danger at the location. This incident is currently under investigation and there is one arrest at this time.
