Just reminding you that effective OCTOBER 1st homeowners can place their trash out for collection at 4:00 pm.  Beginning APRIL 1st, you cannot place it out until 5:00 pm.  If your collection day falls on a holiday, DO NOT place it out for collection until 4:00 pm (5:00 pm on April 1st) on the holiday evening.  Recyclables WILL NOT be picked up until the following week.  These are the days trash will not be picked up and needs to be placed out at 4:00 pm on that evening for next day's pickup:

• Tuesday, November 5th, Election Day
  
• Monday, November 11th, Veteran's Day
• Thursday, November 28th, Thanksgiving Day
• Wednesday, December 25th, Christmas Day

Message from 110th Precinct Crime Prevention Officer

Contact your local crime prevention officer to sign up your electronics and register your serial numbers with Operation Identification.  This includes phones, computers/laptops, tablets, music players. This is a City program you can register at any precinct.  All that is needed is:

• Name
• Address
• Email
• Phone number
• Device type (i.e. Iphone, Ipad, Galaxy, etc)
• Serial number
• All information is confidential and only for police use to contact you.
• Please don't keep your electronics visible - perpetrators grab them and run.

Last but not least, we've begun collecting dues for 2014.  Dues are $10 yearly.  Mail to:  Comet, PO Box 780151, Maspeth, NY  11378.  We need your support!!
