At approximately 2:20 am this morning, Saturday 2/20, two individuals were caught on camera trying to open car doors. One individual was on one side of the street and the other is on the other side.
This activity occurred on 70th Street between 52nd Drive/53rd Avenue. The thieves were heading southbound on 70th Street (from Calamus towards IS 73). Obviously the. snow/ice didn't deter them. There's a good possibility the thieves are targeting different blocks at night so we all need to be alert.

Please check to make sure your car doors are all locked. Sometimes the car's remote key fob doesn't lock all the doors. Don't leave valuables in your car.
These individuals don't seem to have a problem entering residents' yards. If your property is gated, you might want to be crafty and attach bells to the gate at night. The noise will certainly scare him (them) off. lol
If you have a camera, check it and pass any info along to the 104th Precinct or COMET.
