We had several incidents in the past couple of days. Our NCO in 104th Precinct Sector Charlie texted me late last night and said they were very busy. She did make time to give us some basic info:
Please don't leave your car running, even for a minute!!
When you're walking in the street, be cognizant of your surroundings and try to stay in well lit/well traveled areas. Don't carry a lot of money, credit cards or other items that can jeopardize your identity if it's not necessary. Lastly, keep your cell phone out of sight. Don't give anyone a reason to target you!!
Stay safe and always be alert!!
- Late Monday night, entry was made through the side window of a house on 69th Street/53rd Avenue. A large sum of cash, jewelry and other valuables were removed from the Asian homeowner's house.
- Last night, at about 7:30 pm, a gunpoint robbery occurred in Middle Village. This is a robbery pattern connected to others in the 111th Precinct in Bayside and the 114th Precinct in Astoria.
- She didn't have the full details yet, but a car was left running in front of Maspeth HS when an individual walked up, jumped in the car and took off.
