I am on vacation but saw a Robbery from Saturday morning (Friday night into Sat) at 4:30 AM.
A 60 year old Woman was walking home from work and was approached in front of 85-02 57 Road by an unknown male wearing a gray mask and stated "Give me what you have or you're going to be in trouble". She handed over $600 and he fled on foot. No injuries. No weapons.
Please have everyone remain alert. Have their whistle out when walking in case they need it. Stay in well lit areas when possible. If they become victims try to get the best description possible. Clothing, facial hair, hair color/type, race etc. I know it is a difficult and traumatic experience but every little clue could help up catch the person responsible.
