On Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at approximately 2:10 am, at the intersection of Myrtle Avenue and Bleeker Street, Officers observed a vehicle disobeying multiple steady red lights. Officers then conducted a traffic stop for the violations observed, at which time the driver M/H informed the officers that he was shot in the leg. The driver then told officers that he was shot prior to being stopped about 15 minutes ago at the intersection of Seneca Avenue and Palmetto Street. The perpetrator is known to the victim. Officers immediately requested medical attention and additional units to the scene. The victim was escorted to Woodhull Hospital for treatment for non-Life threatening injuries. This incident is currently under investigation by the 104th Precinct Detective Squad.
