Thanks to a sharp-eyed Maspeth resident, a trespasser is off the street. At about 10:00 pm on Saturday evening, someone called 911 to report a prowler on the property of Maspeth Town Hall, which was closed for the holiday weekend. The 104th responded and apprehended a male Hispanic, 30 years of age, who SUPPOSEDLY lives in Ozone Park and who has no criminal record. He was charged with Criminal Trespass. Kudos to the person who didn't hesitate to call 911 and the 104th officers who promptly responded to the call. This is a prime example of the police and community working hand-in-hand! Please keep looking out your windows - you might be surprised what you see!!
