PO Michael Berish, 104th Precinct Community Affairs, advised us of the following: A bodega located at 64-xx Flushing Avenue had lottery tickets stolen last night at about 8:30 pm. The suspect is a male approximately 25 years of age, 6' tall and about 175 lbs. He fled on foot.
This is not the first business in our area that had lottery tickets stolen so it's obvious this "grab and run" is becoming a crime pattern.
We, as a community, can help. If you shop in a convenience store, bodega or any business that sells lottery tickets, please let them know what's going on and urge them to move the tickets to a spot that's not easy for a "customer" to reach over the counter and grab them.
Thanks for your help!
Stay safe and healthy in 2021!!
