Good Afternoon,
There were two gunpoint robberies that the Precinct responded to early this morning, (July 2, 2018) a little after midnight in Middle Village. These perpetrators struck twice in a short time period. The first occurrence was near 82 Street and 58 Avenue and the 2nd occurred near 69 Street and Eliot Avenue. Both victims described 2 male Blacks who produced a firearm. A canvass for the perps yielded negative results.
We are still fielding reports, but these two perps may have been responsible for robberies in multiple Precincts between last night and this morning. I will update you as more information becomes available.
