The 110th Precinct wants to alert folks, especially women, that five incidents of women being groped/molested have occurred near or at the Newtown/Grand Avenue station. The five incidents happened between February 5th and this past Tuesday.
PO David Saponieri, Community Affairs, stresses the importance of being alert at all times, keep cell phones out of sight and be aware of anyone who may be behind you, especially as you head into or out of the subway.
Many Elmhurst and Maspeth folks use this station daily so please get the word out!
