Good afternoon,
Earlier today at approximately 11:46 am, police responded to a 911 call for a robbery at CVS, located at 79-60 Metropolitan Avenue, Middle Village.
When police arrived on scene, the witness stated that while working the cash register, she was approached by a Male White who appeared to be in his mid to late thirties. The perpetrator was wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, black sneakers and was wearing a black face mask. The perpetrator displayed what appeared to be a kitchen knife while demanding money from the cashier. The perpetrator then fled the location on foot heading west on Metropolitan Avenue.
This incident is currently under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to call the 104th Precinct at 718-386-3004.
