DI Manson, 110th Precinct, confirmed that two vehicles were broken into Thursday night/Friday morning in the vicinity of Haspel Street and 52nd Avenue. The windows of both vehicles were broken. The first car had a wallet with credit cards stolen. The second car had an iPod, and expensive sunglasses stolen.
The 110th Precinct Squad is looking into these cases and extra patrols by Anti Crime teams have been put into place.
Just because our communities have seen a decrease in crime doesn't mean crime can go back up. Please don't leave anything in your vehicles and make sure the doors are locked!! And remember, if it can happen on 52nd Avenue it can happen anywhere!
Stay alert and if you see something, say something!!
