Regardless of whether you live in Maspeth, Elmhurst or Woodside you need to know there's a burglary pattern in our area.
The burglar is getting into homes through the front/rear doors or unlocked windows. He has been known to break into homes in the evening as well as daylight hours. Please make sure you keep your doors and windows locked. If you have an air conditioner in the window make sure it's secure and can't be pushed in.
This photo on Twitter isn't clear. You need to look at every stranger as a potential suspect. If you see suspicious activity, call 911 and tell the Operator that we've had burglaries in the area and this individual is acting suspicious. The 104th, 108th and 110th Precincts are all actively looking for this individual.

At our COMET meeting last night I was surprised to hear how many residents had items stolen from their vehicles. Please lock your car even if it's parked in your driveway!
