Someone posted on Facebook that this morning that at about 11:30 am two men pepper sprayed a senior and tried to steal her handbag on 66th Street off Maurice Avenue. This was confirmed by Captain Mastronardi, 104th Precinct. He is working on a "Wanted" poster and will blast it out.
In the meantime, please pass the word to your neighbors, especially those of you on the Maspeth/Woodside border and tell them not to carry unnecessary valuables in their purse. If you look at our previous post, the other incident occurred near this one.
