Last night at approximately 7:00 pm, 104th officers noticed a vehicle driving aimlessly around Maspeth. A long story short, they followed the vehicle to Ridgewood where they did a car stop. The driver, who lives in Brooklyn, had drugs in the vehicle.
The 104th obtained a warrant to check the car and found a locked box. A drug-sniffing dog went right to it. Upon opening the box, they found 400 containers of "hydro marijuana". Needless to say, the driver was arrested. Captain Wachter said this marijuana is treated with chemicals to make it stronger. See photo below.
Great job, 104th!!
If anyone has information about drugs being sold in our community, please pass it on to your precinct.
