Our last COMET meeting before summer break will be held this Monday, June 5th, St. Adalbert Parish Center, lower level, 52-40 84th Street, Elmhurst. We will have a small end of the year party at 6:15 pm and our regular meeting will start at 7:00 pm. We have a lot to discuss!!
Agenda:
- 104th, 108th and 110th Precincts will update us about crime and any unusual incidents in our area. Crime, if any, in the vicinity of our homeless shelters, zombie houses, summons enforcement with regard to the parking placards issued to the Board of Education employees.
- DOT Queens Assistant Borough Commissioner Jason Banrey will update us on various studies that are ongoing in our area and will answer questions. If you have any ideas to make our streets safer, this is the time to bring them up. I encourage you to write down the ideas and provide photos, if possible.
- Robin Eichen, Attorney, from the Federal Trade Commission, Northeast Region wants us to hear about various frauds and scams.
- Updates from our elected officials' representatives, i.e. Calamus Avenue sewer construction, 55th Avenue water main, sewers in Elmhurst's "valley", meeting with LIRR near St. Mary's, etc.
