Wednesday morning at approximately 8:00 am the110th Precinct received a 911 call for an attempted gunpoint robbery.
A 19-year-old female victim stated at the corner of 80 Street and 57 Avenue an unknown perpetrator walked up to her displayed a firearm and demanded her purse. The victim was able to run away, her property was not removed, and she did not sustain any injuries. Officers canvassed the area but were unable to find the perpetrator that was described by the victim.
