We reached out to Senator Gianaris' office regarding the proposed IBX that will connect Brooklyn and Queens. Many folks are not pleased with the proposal as a whole, but are vehemently opposed to having tracks run down 69th Street and not pleased where train stations are proposed. Here is the MTA's response to the Senator's office:
MTA: "I do want to restate that this is NOT the final plan. There is a link for public comment."
The proposal calls for stations at both Grand and Eliot Avenues, but ultimately there are no final or frankly even close to final decisions on the exact locations of the stations.
