More Queens bus service upgrades, starting August 31

Hello, Queens bus riders!

We've been rolling out your new Queens bus network this summer, and now we're gearing up to launch Phase 2 on Sunday, August 31.

We're implementing changes to existing bus routes that will make service faster and more reliable across Queens. To do so, some bus routes and stops are changing.

What's coming
We're also introducing new and expanded bus routes to provide better connections to your travel options. Starting Sunday, August 31:

• The new Q80 bus arrives with new overnight service along the entire length of Lefferts Blvd to and from the Air Train JFK . 
• Improved Q33 service offers better connections to LaGuardia Airport Terminal A  from Jackson Heights.
• The Q7 provides new service along Rockaway Blvd between Liberty and Jamaica Avs with a new connection to the    and Cypress Hills.
• The extended Q52-SBS route serves new developments in Edgemere, and the extended Q22 route connects to Far Rockaway LIRR with an additional trip in Bayswater during morning peak and midday hours.

Current bus service will continue until then. Please use the MTA app or BusTime to plan your trip.
