I just wanted to let you and the COMET crew know about an event that occurred last week.
Police responded to a report of a larceny around 72 Street and Grand Avenue on July 9th at approximately 5pm. As two women walked back from the grocery store, they were approached by two unidentified males on a scooter who took a necklace from one of their necks, also known as a "chain snatch". The victim did not sustain any injuries as a result of the incident.
