Good morning,
The 104 Precinct would like to update you on an incident that took place within our confines.
Today, June 26th , at approximately 0339 hours, Officers responded to reports of a dispute with a knife in the vicinity of Seneca Avenue and Gates Avenue in Ridgewood. Upon their arrival, they were immediately approached by a 911 caller who stated that a victim was stabbed at the location. As the Officers surveyed the scene, they spotted the victim, who sustained multiple stab wounds to the abdomen. The victim was immediately transported to an area hospital to receive emergency treatment but was later pronounced deceased.
The perpetrator was identified and arrested on scene.
