Good morning,
On Sunday, July 26, 2026, at approximately 11:29 p.m., Officers responded to a 911 call at Wyckoff Avenue and Hancock Street in Ridgewood. Upon arrival, responding Officers located a female victim with two minor graze wounds to the leg. The victim stated she was standing at the location with a group of friends when she heard gunshots and felt a sudden pain. She was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition. Officers canvassed the area and recovered several shell casings in the vicinity. This preliminary investigation is ongoing, and details may change as new information develops.
