On Tuesday, Captain Wong, Commanding Officer of the 108th Precinct, reached out to let us know that an elderly male Asian was a victim of a scam.
A woman approached the victim about the jewelry but apparently there was a language barrier so she forcibly removed his jewelry causing a minor injury to his neck. The only information that we have at this time is that the woman got into a Nissan with a male driver. We're glad this incident was reported and is currently under investigation.
See the attached flier and please alert your neighbors!
