We're sure we'll get an update, if there is one, at our meeting on 4/1.
Detective Saponieri reached out to let us know that a residential burglary occurred at 87 #s on 58th Avenue, 2nd floor apartment, on Wednesday, 3/20. Entry was made through the front door and money was stolen. The burglary was reported at 1:00 am in the morning.
We're sure we'll get an update, if there is one, at our meeting on 4/1. Hello Queens Civics and Stakeholders:
Thank you all so much to the Civic groups that attended the Queens Borough President Civic Roundtable last evening and provided the MTA Redesign Team with feedback regarding our bus route and bus stop proposals. We encourage you to keep sharing your feedback directly with us but also with your elected representatives. We have heard from almost every elected office in Queens with feedback from their constituents on the Proposed Final Plan and we appreciate the engagement from elected officials on behalf of their communities. In December 2023, the MTA released the next report in the Queens Bus Network Redesign initiative, the Proposed Final Plan. In this Plan we further refine the Queens bus network to address the needs of our stakeholders while balancing trade-offs and using network redesign strategies to achieve our customer priorities: Reliable Service, Faster Travel, Better Connections, and Simplified Service. We appreciate hearing from every corner of Queens and so much of the feedback we have received has been incorporated into each draft of the Redesign proposals. For our next round of Spring outreach, we will be visiting key bus hub and transfer points around Queens. Here are the dates listed below: The Redesign team will be out in communities across Queens on the dates listed below from 4-7 p.m. In the case of extreme weather, events may be rescheduled so customers are advised to check the project webpage before heading out to an event.
In partnership with the MTA’s Mobile Sales team, the Queens Bus Network Redesign team will be on-site at five Mobile Sales locations this spring to meet with bus customers, talk about the Proposed Final Plan and routes proposed in their neighborhood, and receive feedback.
Please be sure to visit the project website. And take a look at the resources there to learn more about how the new route proposals may impact your commute and let us know what you think! We will be releasing our Open House dates and locations shortly! Check out your proposed commute in the Future Trip Planner! The routes shown in the Proposed Final Plan have been uploaded to the Future Trip Planner so people can get a sense of the routes they would be interested in and their average travel times. The new routes will be available for preview via a trip planning tool that allows customers to input a start and end location and see an overview of their trip with the bus route changes in effect. After entering their trip information, customers can drag the start and end flags across the map and watch their options and routes shift in real time. Enter your start and end locations to see which routes you might use! Interactive network maps We need your feedback! Use this interactive Remix map to view our proposed bus routes and stops in detail. Please provide comments using the "Post Comment" button on the top right of the page. Then click on the route that you would like to comment on. Proposed Local & Express Bus Network System maps

We have been receiving complaints about a mobile car wash setting up for business on 69th Street at Grand Avenue outside of Maspeth Federal Savings. Sgt. Cortes, 104th Precinct, passed this information along. This will certainly come up for discussion at our COMET meeting tomorrow night!!
We have a lot to discuss. Crime statistics, traffic, quality of life concerns and updates from our elected official's representatives.
