The 104 Precinct would like to update you on an incident that took place earlier this afternoon. At approximately 12:25 pm Officers responded to calls for a robbery in the vicinity of 63 Place and 55th Avenue, Maspeth. Upon arrival, the Officers were approached by a mail carrier who stated that an unknown male approached her, displayed a firearm, and removed her mailbox key. The perp then fled the location in an unknown direction. If anyone has information regarding this incident, please be sure to contact the 104 Precinct. Thank you, Police Officer Dilsia Bonilla 104 Precinct- Community Affairs Starting on Monday, August 5th through Saturday, August 31st, 2024, the New York City Department of Transportation Division of Bridges will conduct maintenance on the Metropolitan Avenue Bridge over English Kills as per the attached schedule. As a result, single vehicular lane closures will take place in either Brooklyn-bound or Queens-bound direction. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained with assistance of flaggers. The bike lane will not be affected. At least one lane in each direction will be maintained at all times.
