Police responded to a call for an assault with a knife at 69-56 Grand Avenue, Maspeth. Once at the location, responding Officers were approached by a male perpetrator with a knife in hand. Officers were able to subdue the perpetrator and were immediately notified by a witness as to a female victim with multiple wounds about the body. The female victim was removed to a local hospital where she was later pronounced deceased. The male perpetrator was removed to an area hospital for treatment to his injuries.
