Gabriel's Billiard Parlor has just distributed flyers throughout the neighborhood about their restaurant services.  The establishment, located at 50-12 72nd Street, is open every day.  Last year they petitioned the State Liquor Authority (SLA) for a liquor license.  Before the SLA grants a license, they confer with the Community Board among others.  CB2 sent a letter to the SLA objecting to the license since the establishment has ignored several requests for a meeting 
with them.  And now, I have requested that CB2 investigate two items: does their Certificate of Occupancy allow for restaurant services, and if it does, then has the appropriate agency granted them a license to operate as a restaurant services establishment.
